How does Askvo learn my content?
Paste your website URL and it crawls your pages, or upload files, plain text and Q&A pairs. The bot answers only from that content, and you can re-crawl or edit sources anytime as your site changes.
What happens when it doesn't know an answer?
It says so, with a fallback message you control — it never invents an answer. The question is logged in your Unanswered Questions report so you know exactly what content to add, and the visitor can ask for a human.
Is my data safe? Who owns my content?
Your content stays yours and is used only to answer your visitors. You can export or delete all your account data anytime from Settings, and closed conversations are automatically deleted after 12 months.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste one script line into your site — it works with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, React or plain HTML. If you can edit your site's footer, you can install Askvo.
What happens if I use all my monthly message credits?
You get a warning email at 80% so it never surprises you. At the limit, the widget shows visitors a polite notice instead of answering, until credits reset next month or you upgrade — there are never overage charges.
Can visitors talk to a real human?
Yes. There is a "talk to a human" button in the widget, and you can take over any live conversation from your dashboard — the visitor sees your replies in the same chat.
Does it speak my customers' language?
By default it automatically replies in whatever language the visitor writes in. You can also pin it to a specific language in the AI settings.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
